March 2011 — "I'd read quite a few negative reviews about Ethos, but our experience couldn't have been better. We got an experienced sales lady who asked the right questions and pulled the perfect dress. The wedding is in 5 months- some salons won't order, but Ethos did. Lots of selection of different styes. Sales lady said to avoid Jan & Feb- very busy months. I'd highly recommend this place. It was 5th store we went to, and we found the dress!"

May 2010 — "Ethos in Calgary made finding my wedding dress absolutely perfect! They were extremely helpful and pleasant! We joked around and had a complete blast! I would reccommend anyone to go there - it was an experience I only dreamed of. Very very happy with the service and the dress I found!"

April 2010 — "I originally bought my dress at one of their chaotic wedding shows. And even though there were tons of brides trying dresses on, the staff was still able to be very attentive and gave me the time to actually see what I was trying on and check myself out in the mirror (hehe). I bought the 3rd dress I tried on. I came back on a Saturday to show my mom and mom-in-law the dress. They were busy as hell, and I was still helped within maybe 15 minutes. Then about 2 months later, I had second thoughts about sizing. I called asking if there was anything I could do (since I did buy the sample dress from the show). I was afraid of being a nuisance, and that having bought a sample dress, I'd be stuck with it. They were more than accommodating and actually ordered the dress in a different size for me. The dress came in, fit perfectly. Every girl who helped me were very friendly and were chit chatting with us even during the times we stopped in without an appointment. Loved my experience with Ethos!"

February 2010 — "I went to pick up my wedding gown when it came in after a great experience a few months before. The staff that helped me with the initial fitting were easy to talk to and kept me and my girls at ease during the visit. They even helped me find a great veil. The best part was that they joked around with us and made it a really fun visit!"

January 2010 — "My daughter and I went to Ethos (with an appointment .. it's just dumb to not book an appointment when you expect service) on a Saturday in January 2010. It was extrememly busy and very crowded (but it was a Saturday). We ended up having to wait about 30 minutes for the bride before us to decide on her dress (which was fine since I didn't want us to be rushed either). The sales woman seemed a bit short with us at first but then when she realised we weren't mad about waiting she calmed down and became very helpful. We had a large dressing room to ourselves and were happy to find "the dress". Overall it was worth the wait. My only advice is to remember they are just regular people and if you treat them nicely they will treat you nicely!"

February 2008 — "I walked in and even though it was the weekend of the bridal show (very busy) I had 3 people attend to me within the first few minutes. The very friendly store clerk who was helping me picked out a dress- the first dress I tried on- that she said I absolutely HAD to try. I never would have picked it off the hanger, but she was right- it fit my body, my personality- it's THE dress. She had a great eye, made me very comfortable, they even gave us a significant discount, although the dress was brand new stock. I loved my experience at Ethos!"

February 2008 — "I was in Etho's last weekend and it was chaotic from the moment we stepped in the store. I figured it would be like this since I have been to many bridal stores on Saturday and I do have 7 bridemaids, so I called during the week to try to make an appointment and the lady on the phone told me I didn't have to make an appointment and they would be able to help me out. I arrived there about an hour after they opened and it was cluddered with people. It took about 1/2 hour before anyone even approached us to see if they could help us. Once they did, I explained to her exactlly what I was looking for and she grabbed a dress for one of my bridesmaids to try on and left. I the sales consultant wondering around the store but she never came back to help us. My bridesmaids started to collect the dresses they wanted to try on and we were fine doing this on our own. Then another sales consultant came up to help us and explained how they were short staffed and she apologized for the lack of help. That was fine and I appreciated that she acknowlaged that we were there and she was helping us. I explianed to her what I wanted and she grabbed a few dresses and one of the girls tried them on. One of my bridesmaids came out in a dress that I said was too plain and I really wanted something a little more diffrent. That is when the sales consultant started telling me that the dress that my friend had on was the perfect dress and that is the style I wanted. I told her that I didn't want that style but she kept insiting that I get that dress and I didn't know what I wanted. She was also telling me that I shouldn't care what my bridesmaids are wearing that I was the only who mattered. Is this why there are so many ugly bridesmaid dresses out there??? I told her that I really did care how the girls looked and I knew what I wanted. After about 20 minutes of arguing with her, she just walked away. So once again we were just standing there by ourselves, so we just left. I looked up all the designers that they carry there and I just plan to go to the other bridal boutiques to find them."

December 2007 — "Went in to Ethos on a whim and without an appointment and received some of the best assistance. I will definitely return as it was very lighthearted and fun - no where near as formal or stuck up as I've experienced at other stores."

October 2007 — "WE were disappointed by the service, the dresses and the entire experience. Half of the dresses we picked we could not order, 2 of the 5 I tried on were broken and all of them were very dirty. Not really an ideal wedding shopping experience as I wish someone would have told me ahead. I would recommend to maybe skip over this store in your hunting."

June 2007 — "I went to Ethos on a Friday without an appointment. It was the first store we went to and they were able to accommodate me. H. was a very experienced sales associate and was able to help me find the perfect dress, even though I kept picking out ones that didn't look any good on!"
