January 2011 — "I made a mistake in planning to wedding dress shop on a saturday, when I first entered the store, there was so many people, I was a little overwhelmed. All the staff seemed to be quite busy, so I took the liberaty to look around the shop to see if there was anything I wanted to try on. after a bit, a young sales lady came and said hi, and asked if I needed any help, she asked me a few questions and off she went. she pulled a few dresses for me, and I pulled a few for myself. I had to wait for a bit for a change room, even though it was extreamly busy the girl stuck with me and helped me out, she was so friendly I soon became more comfortable, I felt like she was honest with me, and didnt push me at all. I tried on quite a few but in the end there was a happy ending, I found my dress! Thankyou Blissful Bridal!"

September 2008 — "I think I may have broken a record: I purchased my wedding dress and shoes in under two hours, including being stuck on Glenmore Trail for twenty minutes while driving between Blissful Bridal and the shoe store. I was extremely apprehensive about shopping for a wedding dress, since I'm not a 'girly' girl, and didn't want to deal with all the fussyness. I decided to initially shop alone, so that I could get an idea of what was out there. My first stop was Blissful Bridal. I was greeted by a salesperson immediately, who asked me when the wedding was to take place (Dec 2008). I also mentioned that I wanted something simple. She immediately chose three dresses, none of which I would have chosen for myself, and made me try them on. The third one was perfect, and only needs minor alterations! She showed me several veils and head pieces, and I quickly fell in love with one of them. The beading on the bodice needed mending, so she told me that she would have it done, and would give me a call in a week or two so that I could pick up my dress. Instead, she called later that afternoon to say that it was done, and I took my dress home that same day. And to top it all off, the dress was 20% off! I am a very happy bride! "

January 2008 — "It is my first time getting married and I had no idea of what kind of dress I wanted.
The sales lady helped me find a bunch of dresses to try on. I finally found one that I would never have chosen for myself but it was beautiful, my dream dress! All of the ladies made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and they were just as excited as I was!
They give you their honest opinion which you need when you are looking for a wedding dress!! My sister, and two of my good friends have recently bought their wedding dresses from here as well. They too were pleased with the service. I would reccomend this business to anyone looking for a wedding dress!!"

January 2008 — "I recently went tot Blissful bridal to take a look at bridal gowns. I looked around myself for less than a minute when a sales person came and asked if I needed help. I told her what I was looking for, and she immediately picked out a few gowns that meeted my criteria.
The staff was VERY helpful, looked happy to be there, and showed me many different types of accessories. I have tried on at least 25 gowns in 4 other shops and none compared to this one. I bought my dress on the spot, and saved $600 by choosing this dress over 2 other ones that I love at other places.
Its a WONDERFUL shop if you are looking for service and price. The prices are GREAT!!!"

September 2007 — "This was the first store that my mother, my sister, my two year old daughter and I went to. Having never been to a bridal store before, (I bought my first wedding dress from Sears, many years ago) and having heard a few horror stories I was a bit nervous. The second we walked in we were warmly welcomed and invited to look around. The sales lady asked what I was looking for and I informed her that I wanted something casual, destination and soft, not shiny, for a second time bride. She showed me a few racks and pulled out a few dresses for me. There were a few that just were not what I was looking for, but as we worked on, her selections got closer and closer to what I had invisioned. She took me to a fitting room and showed the rest of my party where to have a seat and wait for me to come out. I quickly sorted through my stack of dresses, and narrowed it down to two, all the while finding out a size that would be best, with the saleslady reassuring me that "size is just a number" just in case that the fact that I am SO not a 6 was bothering me. She even brought me a beautiful gown to try that was a little more "bride in a church" that what I wanted, but her idea was to have the crinalin (sp?) under the skirt removed to have a long, sleek a-line skirt. It was a great idea and I concidered it for a bit and appreciated the fact that she really was listening to what I wanted, and was working with it! I was having a hard time visualizing so she helped out by getting out some pearls and a short veil (appropriate for a second time bride)with the styles I was stuck on. Once I saw the full get up with everything, I was sold on the one dress that I bought. Once I had made the decision, she agreed with me, saying that the other dress was beautiful on me and she loved that one too, but this one seemed to suit my personality better, (even after having only known me for a short time, she was bang on!), but also seeing me move in it I looked more comfortable and confident.
The desicion was made, and the wonderful sales lady that was so much help was genuinely happy for me (I am sure partially from the commision, but it is her job) She also shared some of her wedding story with me, as we are both going to be married in Vegas! She looked like she truely enjoyed the process and loved her job of helping brides find that perfect dress, no matter what it is!!
When I was putting down my deposit and filling out the forms, I noticed all the photos and thank you cards from the countless other brides that had been there before me. It was a wonderful sight and made me grin from ear to ear. I am still glowing from the experience and later that night as I gushed to my friends about the dress, many of them either knew or where brides that had shopped there and loved it. I would recommend this shop to anyone that was looking for an easygoing, fun experience with sales people that really care!"

July 2007 — "My mom and I went to look at wedding dresses for the first time at Blissful Bridal. We were greeted and the door and immediately helped. They explained what dresses could be ordered, the time frame and the colors they could get them in etc.etc. Not only did they let me try on all the dresses i picked out but they listened to what i liked about the dresses i was trying on and found me a dress that had all of the features i was looking for. They also tried vails and hairpieces on me along with matching jewlery. I found my perfect dress and ordered it and all the accessories We left feeling very satisfied. They provided me with a business card to call and find out the status of my dress and also giving me a discount on my bridesmaid dresses. I highly recommend this shop. "

June 2007 — "I had a great experience in this store. We were greeted at the front door and help was offered imediately. The sales lady was very helpful. She listened to what i thought i wanted for a dress, and pulled a bunch out for me to try on. She helped hold the dresses that were too big so i could get an idea of the fit. She also got matching shoes and veils for the dresses i tried on. I found a dress that i completely love and could not have asked for a better experience. "

April 2007 — "I ordered my bridesmaids dresses in February, and when we ordered them, most of the staff was pretty useless, we helped ourselves, their only interest in us came once it was time for the money to change hands. Then, the dresses were late coming in, and dangerously close to my wedding date, and when I called to check on them, the lady I spoke to started yelling at me on the phone and made it sound like it was my fault. I don't recommend this shop. "

April 2007 — "I'll make this short and sweet. Which encompassed my visit to the store on Macleod Trail. Please also know that not ONE word I've typed here is an exaggeration. First off, I entered the store and was not acknowledged by anyone. Even though there was a man standing at the counter who acted like he worked there, he made no attempt to welcome me. He was instead flirting with a couple women also standing in the doorway. I made my way into the store and began looking through the gowns. I looked around for assistance, and found there were three woman whom I could see who worked there. One was restocking gowns, one was just standing there looking pretty, and the other was actually doing her job helping the only other bride-to-be in the store. I asked one of the sales associates (with red hair) if she worked there (just to be sure). She said 'yes' and turned away (back to the gown she was hanging on the shelf). Um ... excuse me?! I then asked her if she could HELP ME out. She asked what I would like help with. (What do you think??). Instead I simply asked her to get me a fitting room, since that was obviously the only thing she was good for. She immediately asked when my wedding date was. I said ‘next summer’ (1 year from now) and she said 'oh good, you've got lots of time' indicating with her tone that she didn't quite want to be bothered with me that day. Her tone was crude and discourteous. After putting the dress on, I could not zip it up. I came out of the dressing room where two associates were standing, doing nothing. Looking pretty I guess. I stood there holding my dress and neither of them offered to help me zip it up. I ended up asking one of the women to help, NOT the red haired one, but the red head intervened and zipped me up. Next, as I was standing up on the podium examining my dress, another associate walked right in front of the mirror I was using! Yes, directly in front of me on my podium. I was shocked. These people are either incredibly disrespectful or very new to the profession. I got down off the podium and returned to my room to try on the second dress. The maddening woman with the red hair followed me into my room! She didn’t ask politely to come in, she just barged right in behind me. I have no idea what her purpose was, she looked around then left. that should have been my sign to leave! Irregardless, I tried on the second dress and it was too big. Thus I had to hold it awkwardly at the back so it wouldn’t fall off of me (being the only size in that style I had no choice). I stepped out of the dressing room hoping there would be an associate around to hold it for me so I could view it in the mirror. There was, but not to help me hold it. I guess that wasn’t part of their specialty. There were two of them standing there, doing nothing, and making NO attempt to assist me. So I took it upon myself to just get onto the podium and hold the dress myself. One of the associates then came and stood beside me and said ‘That looks nice’ and walked away. Did she even realize I was having to hold it up myself?? That was the last straw. I left the store. And I could have guessed it, but not one of the 4 people working there noticed me leave. I am absolutely appalled by the ‘service’ (you couldn’t even call it service!) I received there! It was atrocious. I don’t recommend this bridal store to anyone. I guess this wasn’t short and sweet, but my stay at the store still was. I was courteous to all the associates at the store, I sure didn't receive the treatment afforded to me. "
